MERRIFIELD WEST PSP CHMP COMPLIANCE PROJECT

CHMG completed the Merrifield residential subdivision CHMP and archaeological salvage program.  The Merrifield West PSP covers an area of 667ha with a Net Developable Area (“NDA”) of 521 hectares, representing approximately 73% of the PSP area. Based on these estimates the Merrifield West PSP area will provide approximately 7,000 dwellings for 20,000 people.

The development vision for the Precinct is to provide a high quality residential focused node that will provide a variety of domestic choices for the increasing population of the North Growth Corridor. CHMG delivered the project to MAB Corporation on time and within budget parameters.

LINDUM VALE, MICKLEHAM, VICTORIA, PSP DRY STONE WALL ASSESSMENT

CHMG provided MAB Corporation with strategic advice to assist with the management of dry stone walls within the Lindum Vale Precinct on Mickleham Road, Victoria.

CHMG developed a brief thematic environmental history and a statement of significance for dry stone walls within the PSP area to determine the local and extra-regional significance of the structures. We developed a list of future actions and management measures to assist MAB to manage these assets into the future.

HAYSTONE CHMP, WESTMEADOWS

The Haystone development CHMP and archaeological salvage program was completed by CHMG in 2023. Haystone comprises a mixed-used development which includes commercial and residential lots across the 9.9 ha development. The site is located in Westmeadows providing excellent access to the Tulamarine Freeway and Airport. CHMG successfully navigated a site containing broad-scale artefact scatters, managing to isolated these via landform registrations so they could be strategically targeted as part of salvage excavations.

MERRIFIELD BUSINESS PARK, KALKALLO, VICTORIA, PSP, CHMP

The Merrifield Business Park is part of Victoria's pre-eminent residential / industrial subdivision projects within the Merrifield PSP area on Donnybrook Road, Kakallo. The CHMP and subsequent archaeological salvage program was completed by CHMG archaeologists and the Wurundjeri on time and within budget.

CHMG have experience managing large, complex projects for a range of clients including large-scale projects like those across the Merrifield PSP area, all of which are contributing to the growth and prosperity of Victoria.

ELEMENT BUSINESS PARK, CLYDE NORTH, VICTORIA, CHMP STAGES 1,2 and 3

The development vision for Element Park was to provide a high-quality business and employment focused node providing a variety of employment opportunities for the increasing population of the south-east growth corridor.

The land use and development philosophy for Element Park was to facilitate a development of major employment generators across large-scale allotments located centrally on Thompsons Road and Berwick Road, Clyde North. CHMG successfully completed the CHMP in 3 stages working in association with the Bunurong Land Council.

ALLIANCE BUSINESS PARK, EPPING, VICTORIA, CHMP

CHMG prepared a broad-scale CHMP and accompanying archaeological salvage program at the Alliance Business Park in Epping, Victoria. The development vision for Alliance was to provide a high-quality business node that will provide a variety of employment opportunities for the increasing population across the northern growth area.

The proposed activity comprises an industrial subdivision and development of land industrial lots between 5,836m² (small) to 14,790m² (large). Allowances have been made under the Planning Scheme for a large, centrally located area of open passive space and a green wedge buffer along Edgars Creek. The road framework is intended to include an internal ring road with nodal points that provide a high level of amenity. Surrounding the internal ring road is the network of arterial and collector roads, on the edges of the Park, this includes the east-west collector road - O’Herns Road - on the southern boundary of the activity area. Works within the activity area have a 5-year outlook.
